James is a very laid back Professer, though he has high-expectations from his students he is very kind and is often willing to help give them one on one time. James often gets on the nerves of his fellow staff members though. He can act very childish and is extremely competitive. James has a serious problem with holding his tounge. He is quick to say whas on his mind and some of his comments may be considerd innoprpiate and uncalled for. He is also American and will sometimes boast of American pride. If you enter his quidditch tent you will see this.
Teaching Style Students love him becouse he is very kind to them. He has control over the class at all times becouse they naturaly respect him. James often helps students that need trobule with there flying techniques.. Even though his classwork is easy sometimes students dont grasp the concept of flying right away. He is patient with them and helps them through it one step at a time. The older students and Quiditch Players often go to him for tips on flying and help on becomming a better Quiditch Player since he used to be a star Seeker at Hogwarts and even played professional for a short period of time bfore a bad injury caused him to retire early for a few years.

WereWolfism: When James was a young boy back in America he was playing in the park at night. His friends had already left him to return home,but he still wanted to play. He was soon lured out of the light of the lamps at the sound of a voice speaking to him. He was to young to know to stay away from the voice so he followed it into a thicket of trees where he was promptly knocked uncouncious by a werewolf. The beast must have bitten him becouse when he woke up in his bed the next morning he had found huge teeth mars in his side. His parents had been alramed and worried that this would ruin his chance of getting into the school of magic in the states. But thankfully they had gotten a letter from the ministry of magic,located in London and they informed them that he could attend Hogwarts. Throughout his years he grew up at Hogwarts,staying in the whomping willow during his transformations untill the wolfsbane potion was discoverd. This would not fully prevent him from turning into a werewolf,but instead turn him into a docile dog that wouldnt think of ever harming anyone.
