I found time! Im not good with plots so i thought it would be safe to start with them coming down to the pitch and both getting ready to do a little practise and then meeting each other and sparking off a little broom battle with maybe 4/5 rounds to it. I can explain that more if that doesn't make sense or confuses you, I tend to do that to people a lot.
Nix wandered down to the qudditch pitch with her bag hanging off her sholder and her school robes still on. Seeing as this was actually a free period for her and no-one else had booked the pitch as younger students were in class she bought she may as well get in a little broom time for herself. She walked down to the pitch and slid through the gate and dropped her bag just inside the girls changing room and then walked out again and slid the door shut behind her and looked across the pitch ,"dry and now breeze, perfect" she said to herself with her trademark smirk

Angeline thought she would see the pitch again. She really was going to miss it greatly when she would leave the castle in less than two years. Even if she did go on to become a Quidditch star or whatnot, the Hogwarts pitch was the one that she experienced plying Quidditch in. She absolutely loved her sixth year. Dropping several classes was necessary for her, especially with the thought of keeping professor Harrington proud by bringing "home" the house cup again. Sure, she let the Gryffindors get the Quidditch cup. All because her team mates had injuries in the past few years. And now she was determined to let her team's good health stay that way.
With that, Angeline made her way to the pitch. It was a cool day, the wind pretty breezy and no one in sight. That was, until she laid her eyes on someone else on the ground. The red and gold colors of the girl's robes immediately screamed Gryffindor. So did the captain's badge. Angeline squinted her eyes at the girl, moving closer.

Nix wandered into the school broom closet and grabbed the worst and slowest broom she could and nodded and shut the door and walked out again ,"if I can do well on a broom like this, then I'll be brilliant on one that's decent" she said to herself and paused on the way up to the pitch ,"note to self ,don't talk to self, im going mad" she said and then bashed the of the broom against her head and stepped out onto the newly cut pitch and smiled when she heard foot steps on the path way and looked up. She spotted another girl walking down towards her, the blue robes told her she was a ravenclaw and the blonde hair and captains badge pin-pointed who she was. Nix laughed to herself a raised a hand to her freind but qudditch rival as she moved onto the pitch and then bent down and took her black ribbon from her belt and her black fingerless gloves too and smirked to herself

Angeline finally saw who it was. How could she have not noticed? It was the Gryffindor Quidditch Captain, Nix Lily Night. Angeline always knew Nix as a close friend, and a good person. Well, everyone looked like an angel next to James. It was pretty complicated how her and Nix's friendship managed to work out. They were in the same year, on their house's Quidditch teams. Even as captains! They had to constantly fight their way to reach the top of the Quidditch line.
"Hello Nix. What brings you here?" Angeline asked, smirking back at her friend. She had her broom in her hand. It was a pretty good one, one of tye brooms in the Nimbus line. Nix looked like she was preparing for something. Angeline had no idea what. Their next match against Gryffindor would not be until December, in the icy cold pitch on an icy cold day.

Nix gas a small smile and rested on the schools broom, it was bent up enough so it didnt really matter what else happened to it aside it being burned. "I'm off lessons at the moment and I thought I might as well come down and do some extra broom work, I figured if I can do well on one of these fail twigs than I'll be amazing on a regular broom" she said with a smirk.
She then shifted the broom down and kicked one leg up and over it and then looked back at her ravenclaw freind and rival ,"up for a little broom related fun?" she asked and kicked off gently from the ground so she hovered a little above the grass, she could feel the broom vibrating under her and felt her eyes narrow ,"this will get annoying very quickly" she muttered darkly looking down at the broom again

Angeline smiled darkly at Nix. There was no way that she could beat her on a broom, especially since Angeline had a Nimbus 1900. It was a good chance of her beating her friend slash Quidditch rival. "Im always up for some fun." Angeline said, holding her broom tight in her hand. The wind was quite breezy, making it a fair game. She just hoped that it wouldn't rain so soon, she wasn't too used in flying during the rain. Especially if it was am actual Quidditch match where she had to find an actual Snitch which cost Ravenclaw an actual one hundred and fifty points. "Though, little miss chaser, I don't see how we could do it playing by the... Quidditch rules and positions. How about just a little race?" she asked with a smirk, tossing her blonde curls aside.

Nix gave a small smile and narrowed her eyes ,"I had a diffrent idea actually" she said and then leaned forwards on her broom and moved forwards only to tip back and fly higher above the ground so she was right above her freind ,"I was thinking something involving a few skills ,I'd say speed and twisting turns and maybe even a little catching too" she said with a smirk that the blonde couldn't see anyway. She tipped forwards and flew across the pitch and then levelled up just under the main goal hop and then raised her hand and waved over at her freind and then saluted to her and a breeze brushed through her hair and brushed it over her sholders for her ,"thanks for that" she said to no one

All Ange could do was smirk back at her friend. "Now, now, Nixie. Don't get too excited about this. After all, I have to leave in half an hour." angeline joked, bearing a playful smile on her face. Broom racing was out, obviously. Angeline was good on a broom. She could ride fast. She could do loops in the air. Though, her catching skills weren't too good. She was a Seeker, and would forever remain one. Nix was a Chaser, so it would be pretty obvious that she could catch well. "How about we also do a bit of bludger dodging, hmm... Yes?"

Nix rolled her eyes and grinned ,"afraid you'll lose to me?" she called over to her friend and laughed ,"come on, ten minutes through the forest and we'll have dodging racing and a fair bit of branch catching to do ,and maybe even see a few beasites too if we're at all lucky" she said. Nix was captain for a reason, was she good on a broom with speed but she was better with working her way round someone and then come up where they didn't expect her and then flash past them or borrow the quaffle and go on to score. Her issue was she had a habit of getting too competitive and going a little over ,against slytherin it tended to not be noticed but against the other teams it didn't go to well

Nix asked her if she was afraid that she might loose to her. Not that it really mattered at that moment. Though, Angeline was quite determined to bring back the Quidditch cup to professor Harrington's study instead of whoever was the Gryffindor Head of House. Angeline gave a cheeky smile to her friend, nodding to show that she acknowledged her comment. "No, I'm not. How about we start now?." she asked, mounting on her broom already. She tended to get quite overwhelmed at times. "I see you've grown a lot since I first met you," the Ravenclaw commented, trying to buy some time, even though it wouldn't really work. What happened to her Ravenclaw wit?

Nix sniggered and then nudged her broom and she moved slowly trough the air to the top of the stands and rested her feet lightly on the hufflepuff tower and then looked into the forest. Here was no-one else around them and the storm that they'd had in the last few weeks had caused a few fallen trees in the forests tree line so they'd be able to fly in and flying out wouldn't be too hard ether. Nix tapped her head and then smiled again ,"so, up for the easy game or the slightly harder but much more fun version?" she asked her her trademark smirk falling into place on her face and the wind beginnin to blow a little harder than it had been when she'd first taken to the air

"Slightly harder, of course. Don't go thinking that all I can do is stretch out and catch a golden ball, Nixie dearest." Angeline said, tossing her blonde curls aside. She urged her broom to fly up into the sky. And it did, the Ravenclaw currently staying in the air beside the normal tower where the professors and special guests sat. It was parallel to the Hufflepuff one that the Gryffindor was next to. It didn't look too hard to fly around, especially without he wind in her face. The only problem was that her hair could normally get stuck in some place.

Nix gave a low chuckle and nodded and then tipped her broom down and felt it vibrate against her and rolled her eyes ,"the sooner I get afford a decent broom the better, the schools moldy old things are just useless and annoying" she said is a rather bitter voice for her and then shook her head as she felt branches against her feet and pulled the broom up to look back over to her freind. She had done this before herself a fair few times and it was great for working on dodging bludgers as branches act very much the same as them inside and it also helped work on turning and stopping with speed so she found it was the best way to do all and any pratise, the only issue was that they shouldn't be in there but who really cared?

Angeline swung her broom around, feeling twigs and leaves brush the bottoms of her shoes. Seriously, the Hogwarts staff really needed to clean up around the towers. She flew faster and further, not minding the Gryffindor girl in who knows where? She did a quick turn and continued. Would she crash into something? The Ravenclaw did have several crashes in the past few years. Along with the fact that she might get into trouble for that, everything seemed safe.

Nix tipped her broom down and dropped down through the thick trees in to a gap that had been created by the recent storm and let the branches whip around her and then felt the pressure of the fallen logs below her and she turned her broom around and looked up in to the gap in the trees and up at the sky and then spotted a dark shape above her and she waved up at her freind and then pointed to the gap where she was still hovering a little above the ground
