My Environmental Science tutor told me that the world is not going to end.... There are just going to be huge electromagnetic storms and all our lovely electronic products will die

They say that the electromagnetic storms will just cut out our electronics for no more than two days. But as for the world ending I highly doubt it. They say there's evidence, but the evidence has been proven wrong many of times.
