Trophy Case

[Carder Williams]

Carder, Being a proud Gryffindor was up exploring the Trophy Room. There were a few Trophys he had helped the Gryffindor House Win. Sure, it wasnt broadcasted but he was still proud none the less. Admiring the shiny things with in the glass he sighed as he leaned against the case looking down the halls. He thought he had heard something only to be slightly freaked out by his own shadow. Shaking his off Carder fiddled with his wand as he kept to himself up there alone.

A sad sigh escaped Blair as she moved through the sixth floor, her wand lighting the dark, corridors that engulfed her. She had wanted to go back to the music room, but was afraid of seeing Phoenix again. The thought of how she had pissed him off like she had still remained in her mind, and it brought fresh tears to her eyes. She hated having people upset with her; it didn't sit well in her mind. With a sigh, and a sniffle, she wiped away whatever tears she could catch that fell down her face as she moved further through the hallway. Suddenly, she felt herself bump into someone, startling her with a jump and a gasp. "I'm so sorry!-" When she looked up to see the victim of her clumsiness, she froze in her spot, her breath caught in her throat for the longest. "...Oh," she gasped, letting the breath she had been holding out. "Carder, hello. I'm- I'm sorry, I'm just extremely clumsy." Blair could feel the bright pink blush creeping onto her face as she tried to look the Gryffindor young man in the eyes. "...W- Well, I should be going," she said starting to move past him. "Goodbye." Her thoughts rushed a mile a minute in her head. Please don't stop me, please don't stop me, please.

Carder stood there in the dark leaning against the case as he hung his head. His parents had names in the case. But his own name was hardly even seen. What could he do to make his name known...He was a Gryffindor for Merlins sake. Dropping his hand he clenched his wand about to leave when he turned and felt something or someone Bump into him. Stumbling back he looked down to see the young Hufflepuff Blair he had met. He was rather fond of her actually and was glad he found her once more. But hearing her speak he raised a brow. With a Perplexed look he took her arm as she walked away. Her voice cracked as her face was red and puffy. "Ms. Blair" he called bringing her back to him. "Please dont go. You look terribly Upset. Can I help? Who made you this way?" he asked worried about her.

Blair's inward pleading was in vain as Carder grabbed for her arm and pulled her towards him gently. Somewhere in her mind, she was sort of glad that he cared enough to ask his questions. Then again, she simply wanted to be left alone. She decided she wouldn't be stubborn with him, and crashed into his chest, her face buried in his robes. Oh, she was weak, but she just didn't care as of now. Letting the rest of her tears fall, she clenched the fabric of his robes, careful not to rip, or tear at it in the least. She couldn't get her words out as she sobbed harder into his chest. Not knowing how long she'd been crying for was the least of her problems, but still, it nagged at her. Blair found comfort in Carder, and his warmth, and his smell. Oh, his warm, fresh smell. Finally able to get to the point of muttering words, she pulled back from his chest, though she held fast to his robes. "N-no one in particular," she said softly, taking one hand and wiping at her eyes. "I just... got a Slytherin angry with me, and it's n-nagging at me." She couldn't believe how that sounded. It was stupid! "I'm sorry." she apologized, wondering if she sounded just as stupid to Carder. She wouldn't blame him if she did.

Carder watched as she basically collapsed into his chest. "Oh" He spoke. Wrapping his arms gently around her as she tugged on his robes he carefully ran a hand through her hair. She sounded so upset. "Oh Blair it will be okay" he told her giving her some reassurance. Hearing Blair speak about her Disturbing a Slytherin his hands clenched as he rubbed her back. "Blair dont let a sniviling Slytherin get you down. Im sure what ever you did he had it coming. And plus. A wonderful and simple girl like you could hardly Bother a Slytheirn" he cooed to her as he held her in his arms. "Now no need to cry Ms. Blair im here for you"

Blair was still sniffling when she felt Carder's hands at her back, clenched with an anger that she could sense so clearly. She didn't want anyone else angry with her, or angry in general. Her frail, fairly innocent mind couldn't handle it! It was going into overdrive! His words though, they were comforting. She couldn't help but smile even a little when he called Phoenix a 'Sniveling Slytherin'. That was a bit much, but still, it kept her from crying anymore. And being called wonderful, and simple? It made her blush again, though it was her normal 'shy girl' nature, not complete, and utter embarrassment. What was she supposed to say? Settling on just getting closer to Carder, Blair leaned into him once more as he held her, her wand hand loosing up to be able to hold on to his robe at the same time. "Thank you." she said softly, though her accent was thick as usual. "...Carder?" she asked with her curious voice. "What are you doing up here so late at night?" Wasn't he worried that he was going to get his house in trouble? Apparently not, but she still wondered.

Carder soon unclenched his hands as he sighed.Hoping what ever he could say would make her feel better. She was much to pretty to be crying and staining that pretty little face of hers. He smiled feeling her hug him now tighter. But he leaned back and looked at her as she asked him the Question. What was he doing up here? And he had lost track of time he didnt realize it was after curfew. "I uh" He stumbled. "I lost track of time. Thats all I was admiring the House Trophies we had and things" he said shrugging. Talking about his accomplishments wasnt something he was fond of. No, Carder wasnt the show off type at all. "Are you feeling better Blair?" He asked.

Admiring his house trophies and things. What a response. It wasn't like how Phoenix went about himself, that was for sure. It was nice, to have a guy that wouldn't boast about every single thing he did. Carder was one of those guys, and she enjoyed it. It made him all the more likable. When he asked if she was feeling better, Blair nodded, and gave a small, soft smile as she usually did. "Yes, I am," she said. "Thank you, Carder." Leaning up, she kissed him on the cheek, mainly out of impulse, before she could stop herself. When she realized what she did, she started blushing furiously, gnawing at her bottom lip as she did. "Um... I..." Blair gave a bit of a nervous laugh then letting go of Carder to play with the fabric of her robes. "That was... I didn't mean... sorry."

Carder took his hand and placed it in the small of her back as he stepped out in front of her. He was glad to hear she was better. Inhaling He stopped as he looked down when Blair kissed his cheek. He gave an inward smile as he watched her blush and fumble for an apology. "Blair" he said placing his hand gently under her chin. Something was eating away at him and he didnt know. He was highly Infatuated with this girl. "No need to serch for an apology" he told her.Carder took in a breath as he leaned down and gently he Kissed the Blushing Blair on the lips. Quick to pull away he thought that would have been different. He blushed. Carder looked away as he placed his hand on the back of his neck. Alright so...carder should never act on Impulse again it will get him slapped..or killed. "I Uh. Okay now I need to look for the 'im sorries" He told her.

"Blair." Hearing her name on Carder's tongue sent shivers down her spine, along with his touch. What was happening to her? She didn't quite understand this feeling she was having. All she knew was that she could feel it in the bit of her stomach, and all through her lower body. With a blink, she looked up at him, watching curiously as to what he was going to do. "No need to search for an apology." "But I-" Wait, he was leaning towards her. What... what was he...? Oh, he couldn't be. He wasn't about to- he did. The feel of Carder's soft lips on hers hand her surprised, and unable to do much of anything at the moment. Soon, though, she didn't mind. It actually felt... wonderful. It only furthered her sudden infatuation with him. But, alas, he had pulled away, leaving her breathless and wanting more. Blair giggled as she saw that he was the one actually blushing this time. It was extremely cute! He was so amazing, it was almost insane. Shaking her head, she grabbed the hand that was rubbing the back of his neck and held it, smiling up at him softly. "Don't." she said barely above a whisper, and leaned up on her toes to kiss him back, just as gently and feathery soft as he had done to her.

Carder was suddenly struck with a warm feeling. A sensation he had not felt in a while here at Hogwarts. Looking down as she took his hand Carder starred down to her as he nodded. He stopped as Blair told him not to look for an excuse. He listened to her. About to suggest they head back to there common rooms, Blair did the most wonderful yet unexpected thing. She kissed him back. Carder swallowed as he smiled pressing his firm lips to hers. Lingering the moment he chuckled into the kiss. It was horrible that he did so but he couldnt help it. Pulling back he too her by the shoulders. "Well that was-" he stopped and kissed her cheek. "Something I liked very much so" Carder told her. "Blair, look I know we hardly know one another. And were in different Houses but. Would you do me thr honor of accompanying me on a date? to...Furhter get to know one another for the chances of-" he stopped and chuckled. "Making you my Hufflepuff?" He asked. Well in all honesty he wanted her to be his now but, he wasnt on to move so fast.

Blair smiled into the kiss as Carder deepened it. It was amazing, he was so soft. She didn't know lips could be that soft. Leaning further into him, she brought her arms up to wrap around his neck gently, leaning up to bring their lips closer. Suddenly, the feeling of Carder chuckling had her confused, but still giddy all at once. I caused her to giggle a bit too, leaning back down on her feet with a blush of her own. She tilted her head as he took her by the shoulders, and couldn't help but blush some more when he kissed her on the cheek, and told her he liked the kiss. And when he asked her out on a date? She thought she might have turned completely pink. She just nodded, not being able to trust her voice at the moment. Part of her though wanted to be his - as he called it - 'Hufflepuff' now.
