Nix turned round in the air as the quaffle dropped down towards ange and rolled her eyes at the slytherin girl ,"sure thing cuz, but would you feel right being so rude to family?" she said with a wide grin and a loud laugh. Everyone knew all pureblood or their direct decedents were related which made nix and katarina second cousins twice removed but the relation was still there and it still annoyed the slytherin, it made nix some what irritated too but it really seemed to prickle over the other girl. Nix pressed down on her broom and flew up towards the goal hoops as ange walked to the pitch middle and nix gave a wide smile ,"oh the fun of a day in the arms of the sky" she recited with a snigger

"Girls, girls, girls, don't get too in the game right now. It officially starts now, doesn't it?" Angeline shouted across the pitch. She did know that a lot of pure-blood families were related. Nix and Katarina being very very distantly related seemed like a very big laugh. James' and Angeline's relationship, on the other hand, was no laughing matter. Shakign these thoughts out of her head, she zipped her broom towards Katarina. "Hey honey. I heard about your little incident with a certain James Lockwood at the clock tower. How did it go?" she asked comically, tossing her blonde curls to one side. It could buy her some time, come to think of it.

Nix rolled her eyes as ange took off into the air and she waved over at the pair on the other aide of the pitch ,"two seekers against one chaser, I'd expect the from the slytherins but from you angie, that's just plain rude. I always knew you hated me" nix said with a slight laugh in her voice ,she knew the others had the same job on the pitch but that was why nix loved being the only chaser captain in the school currently ,johnny green had been a beater and a captain but he was always a lovely guy so nix never worked out what made be become a beater. She shook her head and her wild hair fell over her shoulders and nix looked over at the other pair with a nod and she gripped her brook handle tightly and felt it begin to buzz under her and rolled her eyes quickly

Katarina was a bit surprised that Angeline had directly talked to her. She masked her surprise with a look of annoyance. "What happened in the clock tower is none of your business," she said smartly. She continued on, "But if you must know, we were just chatting under the light of the moon." Katarina glanced at Nix. The fact that she keeps bringing up their family relation was really starting to get under her skin. She still refuses to believe that it is true but still makes a mental note to check that with her parents. Maybe she'll ask them by owl or something. She shook the thoughts away and focused on the task at hand. How are they even going to play quidditch with only three of them? A free for all? That would certainly make Katarina's day.

Nix watched the eyes of the slytherin and then looked over at her friend again and narrowed her eyes. There was no way they would be able to play a decent game of qudditch with only three players but there was no point in all of them just walking off to their common rooms now that all of them were up in the air and ready to go. Nix tipped her head to one side and then nodded to herself and ran a hand through her messy red hair and then dipped her hand into her robe pocket and took out her long length of black ribbon and threaded it through her hair and then tied It up using both her hands for a moment

"Hey Nix! Do you have any idea on how we're gonna play?" she called out to her. Katarina had no idea on how to play with the three of them and wondered if Nix had thought up of something. Maybe they could call in one of their own players to fill in so it'd be two against two. Man... this would be so much easier if the hufflepuffs had a quidditch captain right now. But alas, the last one had gone and no one knows who the next one shall be. Katarina could probably take both Angeline and Nix on but she was going to be nice and play fair just for today. Winning easy peasy wouldn't be much of a victory for her. A struggle with a victory is far more rewarding.

Nix shook her head at the slytherins comment and then looked around at the stands, everyone who had come to watched seemed to be a first year or second year and she didn't want them getting involved in something she knew could turn nasty very easy. She looked at the at the others and then shrugged her sholder ,"why not make it like try outs?" she asked. "two players defend a hoop while on tries to score, two players dodge while one attempts to defend bludgers, two attack while one attempt to seek and such like" she explained and then smiled ,that was the way she ran tryouts, she didnt know about the other two's tactics on the matter but it had always worked well for her

"Is that how you run try outs?" she asked incredulously. Nix ran her own very much differently than Katarina's. She shook her head and continued, "I like it. Let's do it that way... I still think we should bring in one of our teammates." Whether each of them bring in one or only one of them bring in one, Katarina had faith in herself that she would blow them all away. It's that self confidence in herself and in her team that always brings about victories. Failure is definitely not an option for Katarina or the slytherin quidditch team. She cracked her knuckles and folded her arms before looking from Angeline to Nix to the spectators and back again to Angeline.

Nix tilted her head to one side and raised an eyebrow ,"and by that you mean what?" she asked as the wind blew through her hair, she lifted a gloved hand and ran it through her messy red hair and made it yet more messy as the wing blew it off from her finger tips but she just smiled as her eyes caught sight of something behind the other two girls and she gave a loud laugh and then she slid her hand inside her qudditch robe pocket and took out her wand with her fingers and then flicked it in her hand and steadied her broom

"You know, bring in one of our players from our team. We can each bring one or only one of us can bring in one but that's kind of biased if you asked me." Katarina smirked at her. She sat nice and steady on her broom waiting for an answer from either Angeline or Nix.

*well I did like the idea here by we really need more players but I know one of my team has stopped coming online and nat is going through hard times wih her comes so I really think we should end this one...if I'm honest. I'll make mine short too*
Nix looked at katarina and nodded her head and then shook it and lifted her hand ,"both my chasers are too busy with extra homework essays from some detentions last term" she said and then she looked at the stands ,all the people who had come down to see them had filed out and walked away, wether it was too classes or to other things they were all leavings.

She looked around at the departing people as a frown spread on her face. "What a pity..." she said quietly. Katarina sighed in defeat. "I guess we'll just get a raincheck on this quidditch match when we're more prepared then," she said a little sadly. It's always a sad day when you don't get to play quidditch. Katarina speedily dropped down to the ground and gathered all her belongings. Packed and ready to go, she called up to the two still in the air, "Hope you guys don't mind cleaning up and putting the equipment away!" Grinning fakely at them, she turned and departed the quidditch pitch.

Nix nodded her head and then gripped her own broom tightly and then tilted her head to one side and her red hair fell over her shoulder as she did so and then she gave a low whistle and felt the air above her shift and she grinned as she felt wings against her head and phantom dropped down on to her sholder she nix tried her broom away from the pitch ,"let's find something to do" she said to him in a laugh and then she pressed down on her broom handle and felt it vibrate for a moment before shooting forwards and towards the school
