So Katarina lied. She took half an hour to get to the quidditch pitch. Some girls in her dorm thought it'd be funny if they hid her quidditch equipment. It's sufficient to say that she hunted the girls down and gave them a word or two. Or more. Nevertheless, she finally arrived with all her gear and her custom made Nimbus 3000. Okay so it wasn't exactly custom made for her but rather her uncle. He wanted to give Katarina the best so he allowed her to borrow it while she was at Hogwarts. Once she graduates, she'll get her own. She looked around and saw a few spectators. She's sure that what they are about to see will absolutely blow their minds away. Nix wanted a quidditch match and a quidditch match she will get! She knew Nix wasn't a seeker so we'll see how things go. Katarina smiled to herself. "This is going to be fun..." she murmured. She donned her gloves on, mounted her broomstick, and took to the air. Her heart accelerating and the wind rushing through her hair, she looked around for the others.

Nix walked down to the qudditch pitch with her old school broom in her right hand and her wand in her left. The old broom was pretty much useless, it flew too far to the right when your were in the air and vibrated really hard and took time to move but she had come to like this broom. She was saving for her own good broom but using this old one made her better and she knew it ,if she was good on a old flying stick like this then on a broom thst was decent she would be totallty amazing. She gave a small grin as the wind brushed through her hair and blew it back over her sholders and then she gave a small laugh and broke in to a run down towards the pitch

Nix broke through Katarina's line of sight. "About time you showed up!" she called out to her as if Katarina had been waiting the whole time. She dropped down a little to get a better view of Nix and smirked at her old broom. Deciding to taunt her some more, Katarina dropped all the way down to the ground, picked up her one of a kind brooms, and strode toward Nix with all the confidence in the world. Once she was within earshot, she said, "Is that a hand me down?" she inquired while gesturing at Nix's broom. Katarina folded her arms in front of her and looked out at the spectators again. She wondered if they knew what was going on. Further off, she saw more people joining them in the audience. Oh God... don't tell me people have already heard about our little match... While she adored fans, she had wanted this to be a little private. Her fans can't know that she was trying to gain some insight into the Gryffindor quidditch team's strategies!

*small note, have you bought her broom already? Cause we're meant to buy them and I didn't see a thread of yours where you bought one....*
Nix rolled her eyes and then sniggered ,"what ever, I have a firebolt on order that a dear freind of mine say he'll update for me ,yea that right cuz, I'll be better than you" she said with a wide smirk as she pushed the gates to the qudditch pitch open and slid through them with the old broom in her hand. She could feel it beginning to vibrate as she looked around for ange ,"you asked everyone down here?" she asked and looked around. She and the ravenclaw captain were good freinds and big rivals on the pitch and she knew the hufflepuffs had a new captain too but she hadn't had the chance to met who ever it was yet

((Um no... I haven't. I don't have enough posts yet. I can't use a broomstick unless I've bought one? Because I don't know how this thread's gonna go if I don't have a broomstick...))
Katarina couldn't help but roll her eyes at her. "This isn't just any broomstick, dum dum. It was custom made for me," she said surveying her own broomstick. Yes, she was stretching the truth on the custom made part but, hey, it's only natural Slytherin instinct to exaggerate a little. Nix brought her attention back to the spectators. "I didn't tell everyone either. I thought you might have done that..." she said glancing at the others again. She moved in closer to Nix and said softly, "Why don't we give 'em a show they'll never forget?" She moved back a little and proceeded to look around for the other quidditch captains. Like most of the other captains, she hadn't met the new Hufflepuff Captain. She is quite familiar with Angeline and Nix but the old Hufflepuff Captain just couldn't take the heat.

*you can RP without buying one but I'd say it's kinda not fair as there are those of us who are saving for brooms. You could always have a relative who's important to the school who has come to see the headmaster/mistress and they can have lent their broom to her while they are here, it gives you more reason to be stuck up and snooty  and I covered for the missing hufflepuff captain* Nix rolled her eyes ,"lay off Johnny green, he was a good quddith player, it wasn't his fault that his aunt pulled him out of school once she found out what kind of a school we were, she only found out she was related to him a few months back" she growled and then turned her head and looked over her sholder and still couldn't spot ange yet and then sighed ,either she was late or the slytherin girl hadn't told her the right time, and knowing how slytherins could be she geysers it was more likely to be the second option |

"Oh what a shame for little Johnny Green... he was such a good quidditch player," she said sarcastically. Katarina didn't care much for him anyway. His team was just a mere step away from getting to the quidditch finals. She wondered if they have ever gotten to the finals themselves. "Where is Angeline? Late as usual?" she said impatiently. She tapped her foot and noticed as more spectators arrived. I bet she was the one who invited everyone. She blew her bangs out of her face and huffed a little. Patience comes in small doses for Katarina.

Nix gripped her wand tightly in her hand and fought back growl in her troat as the slytherin girl spoke again ,"he was a better player than your team ever were, are and will be. At least the rest of us don't need to cheat to try and win, we can do it because we're just plain talented ,not because we need to compensate for something" she said with venom dripping in to her voiceas she spoke. She heard a hooting behind her and looked up at see a dark shape flying over above her and she smiled ,phantom wheeling around her before dropping down on to one of the gryffindor stands around the pitch and nix laughed and tapped her head and saluted the bird and he gave another hoot and then flapped his wings again in a greeting

Katarina rolled her eyes again as Nix spoke. "You really shouldn't get so offensive, darling. You can ruin your complexion..." she ended in a snigger. She ducked a little as she heard something above her but straightened out again when she realized he settled himself in his seat. She shook her head at the bird and turned her attention back to Nix. Growing agitated and impatient again, she said, "Forget Angeline. Why don't we just get this show on the road?" She furnished a hairtie and gracefully pulled her hair back in a ponytail. She checked herself over to make sure everything was in place before concentrating on Nix's face again.

Nix rolled her eyes and then heard another hoot and sniggered ,"keep your options to yourself Tom" she called out to her bird and be flapped his wings again as nix slid her leg over the old school broom. She pushed off the grind and shot past the slytherin captains head ,only missing her by a hair as she wheeled around in the sky and then smiled down at her ,"slow reactions much cuz" she said with a snigger and then turned her broom and shot over towards the hoops at the right end of the pitch and then grinned to herself as phantom followed her flight only a little above the other girls head and then flew towards her and dropped down on her sholder ,"hello phantom, you here to play?" she asked and got a playful nip on her finger as a answer

"Hey! No birds on the field!" she yelled out as she instinctively ducked Nix passing over her. That was so unnecessary. She reached down to the box holding down all the quidditch balls, opened it, and grabbed the quaffle. She smoothed her hair with one hand and supported the quaffle between her hip and her hand as her broom swiftly raised her in altitude to meet the level of the hoops. "Want to start off with this?" Without waiting for an answer, Katarina threw it up a couple times before tucking it in the crook of her arm and speeding away toward Nix. She lifted her arm to throw it and from the looks of it, it looked like Katarina was going to throw the quaffle at Nix but in actuality, she threw it in the direction of the bird. "Get rid of it!" she screamed at her.

Nix gave a loud laugh and then turned her head to phantom on her shoulder ,"go have fun" she said wih a smirk and then tipped her broom forwards as her owl gave a large hoot and flapped his wings and took off from nix's sholder and flew towards katrina and nix laughed as the girl screamed at her to get rid him ,"I did" she called over as her broom rushed towards the other girl ,"he's now coming towards you because he doesn't like you" she said with a laugh and then flashed past the other girl and reached her hand up as she came under her and knocked the quaffle from her grip as let it fall down in the air before pointing her broom down and diving to catch it

Angeline brougt herself out of the castle to go on the Quidditch Pitch. It was hard, dragging herself out of her dorm. But she didn't have a choice, while most of her friends would just stay somewhere, like the library, attempting new spells and blowing themselves up. Yes, she found two other Quidditch captains there. One she knew as Katarina Adele Zambini and Nix Lily Night, one of her closest friends that was not a Ravenclaw. She brought her Nimbus up and flew to the sky, blinking her eyes at the bright light. "Now, now ladies, play fair..." she shouted across the pitch, trying to get them to acknowledge her presence.

Nix dipped her broom handle down and shot towards the ground and reached out and grabbed the quaffle from the air and fhen dropped it down so it was caught in her feet and the broom flew over towards ange and then laughed ,"think fast brainiac" she said with a snigger. Nix slipped her feet apart and the quaffle dropped out from under her and then she pulled her broom up and shot up in the air as phantom flew past her sholder and hooted at her, nix raised a hand off her broom and phantom dropped down on to it as nix wheeled round to face katarina

"I don't think it's possible for you to play quidditch well without your stupid bird," Katarina called out dryly. She sat loftily upon her broom with both hands holding onto the grip. Her eyes glanced at Angeline before responding, "Tell Nix that..." That was a sort of greeting to her from Katarina. It's quite obvious that she wasn't a people person. She especially isn't a Nix person. Katarina yawned while covering her mouth with a neatly gloved hand before returning it to its old place. "Are you ready to play a real game of quidditch, Nixie?" she asked with a smug smile on her face.
