Karina wondered why she was in Hogsmeade. Of course, it was a marvelous village. The stores randomly scattered themselves throughout the village. Though, Karina really expected to see snow. Oh wait. It was September. Not November, not December, not January. Just September, the same month where students returned to the castle. And also the same month when she would be placing the Sorting Hat on new students.
Now she was in Hogsmeade, along the road, caught in the hustle-and-bustle of the students. Saturday, yes. Hogsmeade weekend it was. Karina didn't expect to see more and more people coming her direction. She was around the edge of the village, so she assumed that no one would reach her.
((ooc: this sucks -_-))

A day out of school meant a lot to student's who had been trapped within the walls since arriving. Sure, it was only September and they had not been there long but the walls of Hogwarts became a little too familiar at times, especially when you had been there for five years. Five long years of working her *REPRIMAND ME, I SAID A BAD WORD* off to prove herself, of getting grades only because she'd abandoned her social life to study. She was not the naturally powerful and talented witch, but she was sure good at proving herself when she needed to and all she really wanted within the school was to make her brother proud - and to start building her army.
Yes, Flame Riddle was very much like her father in that respect though she had convinced herself that she worked for different reasons. She needed to build an army as she needed to erase her father's failure from history, to cause it to be forgotten. Her family name did not want the disgrace her father had brought and so she had formed her plan. Well, she was forming it anyway with the help of seventh year Katarina Zabini. Together, they were plotting away and soon... Soon their plan would begin.
As it was Hogsmeade weekend Flame decided that she would take a walk further out from the village. The village never changed, it was ok to buy things from but it had lost the wonder of adventure it had in her third year. Now, those walls were just a comforting sight as they showed she was actually outside of the school at last. No, today she would find adventure and wandered towards the edge of Hogwarts - to a small bank overlooking the shrieking shack - where she could sit and work on her plot some more.
As she walked a dark smirk clawed it's way onto her face, a dark gleam appearing in her silver eyes. She had no reason to pretend to be an angel now, had no reason not to let her true self show. But perhaps there was for, as she moved onward, she saw the form of her least favorite professor. Professor Lorde was an annoyance she did not need and she found herself seething at the sight of the woman.
Even outside the walls I cannot get away from her. What is she doing, trying to ruin my life? she thought as she shifted slightly to the right intending to walk past the professor without being noticed - as of she'd have any such luck with Professor Lorde!

Karina turned her head around. It was always necessary for her to be checking her back every few seconds. There were some students who hated her, some who loved her like a mother, and others who never knew her name. She noticed a wave of black hair and lightly pale skin. Sure, she knew that there were hundreds of students who looked just like that. Except she knew how certain people looked like, even from the side or the back or from an airplane view. This person was one of those 'certain people'. Flame Druella Lestrange Riddle. Did she even have to know the girl's whole name to know what her family was like? No. She saw it right in the girl.
She wasn't normally one to judge a person by their house, family, blood type or whatever. She just took the personality of said person. And sometimes it wasn't too easy. She had been through a lot of talks with the youngest Riddle child. Oh yes, she knew her brother as well. Jason Riddle, the man she despised the most. In fact, she didn't talk to him too much nowadays. Because now, his three other siblings took his place. Flame Riddle was one of them. The girl tried to move further without Karina noticing. Bad luck. "Miss Riddle." Karina said strongly, eyeing the girl like a hawk to a mouse.
