Nix gave sigh and pulled her bag onto her shoulder and rushed out of the great hall as fast as she could, she had a free lesson now and was fully intending on spending it outside the school on the grass. She slowed to a walk as she left the entrance hall and paused and dipped her hand In to her robe pocket and took out her wand and then started walking over towards her favourite tree so she could finally relax a bit. Her NEWTs were beginning to suck all the fun out of life. She paused for a moment and titled her head tk one side and then smirked and bent down and untied her shoes and pulled them off and then took off her socks and shoved them inside her shoes and turned and began to walk towards the lake instead

She was pacing about the school yard, she was finally free. Natalie decided to go for a walk in the forest, she began walking towards the crystaline lake; she thought to herself 'I'll enter the woods here'. She glanced back trying so badly to forget her horrible day, slipped her hand into her pocket and grabbed the letter her sister sent.
Dearest Natalie,
I've missed you lots. I can't wait to see you again. Mother is getting better, we've recently went and visited Gran. She's not doing so well. I have a book sending for you soon. I believe you'll like it.
She never signed her letters, ever. Natalie smiled as she looked at it, she couldn't wait to recieve her book. She missed her sister badly, she began walking faster towards the shadowy forest. There she would be who she really was, act out scenes as they needed to be. She made it down to the lake and twirled her finger in the water for a moment and began walking again.

Nix walked slowly down toward the lake and felt her shoes swing back and in her hands as she moved towards and the lake, she smiled and then paused and slid her back pack off and unzipped it and dripped her shoes inside it and then zipped it back up and slid it back on to her back and then looked down at the lake and nodded to herself and then broke into a run towards the lake wih the wind whipped her hair back from her face and flicking her robe around as she moved

She stuck the letter back in her robe pocket, her dress and robe flicking in unison as she walked. She looked back and saw a girl heading to the lake, Natalie saw a large oak and began running. She made a leap for the lowest branch and hauled herself up. She stayed there for a while, she pulled an apple from her robe and began munching while singing lightly to herself so no one would hear.

Nix stopped beside the lake and shrugged her sholder and her back pack dropped odd her back and landed on her arm and she flicked it round and dropped it on the grass, she then shrugged off her robe and folded it up around and over her school bag and then leaned back and simply fell to the ground on her back with a thump. Her long messy red hair spread out around her head and her bare feet were muddy and coated in grass stains and her school uniform's black trousers had mud around the leg bottoms but she didn't care ,she smiled up at the sky and waited for something intresting to happen

She leaned against the back of the tree, staring off into the distance, while munching on her apple absentmindedly. A few birds flew past singing thier melodies, and squirrel running beneath. She reached in her pocket and grabbed a book she took from her closet, she began reading. "Could this day get better? Nah, it's already perfect enough. Although SOMEONE isn't here." she smiled lightly and continued reading.

Nix felt bored with in only moments of sitting still. She sat upright and looked around herself, the only other person outside was another gryffindor who seemed a little younger than her, she must have been a 5th year and nix reconsider her face and then nodded ,it was one of the other chasers from the house qudditch team. She nodded and then stoops up and faced the lake and tilted her head to one side so her hair fell over her sholders and then nodded ,"I know a spell to dry off " she said to herself with a chuckle and then ran a hand through her messy red hair and then walked to the edge of the lake side and looked in, she would be ok as long as she didn't go too deep in

She glanced from her book over at the girl about to step into the lake, ran a finger through her own red hair. She chuckled slighty while reciting a spell to herself. She took another bite of her apple, and started reading again. She jumped from the tree and started walking, she glanced over and saw a badger hole and began walking faster. Natalie began thinking of her badger experience back home, not a very good one. She pulled up her robe sleeve and put her hand on her fore arm where she had been attacked, and looked away.

Nix stepped off the grass bank and in to the cool waters of the lake and grinned and then took another step forwards and kept going until she was in the water up to her waist and then she pushed off the pebbled ground and swam a little out into the deeper water and tipped her head back so she was laying on the water and just drifting along. She could feel the sun beating down on her bare arms as she had rolled her school shirt sleves up and her trousers were too wet to be warm now, she would have nodded her head had she known it would have sent water up her nose and she really hated that

She pulled her sleve down and leaned against the tree, she finished her apple. She decided to stick it in the paper bag she had it in in her robe. She looked back, the girl was already almost to the middle of the lake. Natalie looked away and stared at her wand.

*she only just walked into the water matie ,and she'll need saving now*
Nix felt some wrapped around her leg and sighed and tipped forwards in the water and saw a long bit of water weed around her leg and rolled her eyes and then reached down to untie it from around her. Once it was loose she drifted a little away from it but another bit wrapped round her hand. She took a deep breath and shifted to untie that as well but a second bit wrapped round her other arm and pulled it away. Nix felt her blood rush to her her and her heart thump against her chest ,"why does it have to be he day I have homework?" she muttered as more weed wrapped round her legs and started pulling her under the water as she tried to reach for her robe pocket to get her wand

*Whoa.,.. really?! Sorry it's soo short*
She looked over and saw the girl, what was she doing? She casually looked back to her wand and saw a stray limb hanging from a tree, she changed it into a cupcake. She glided it to her and stuck it in her pocket. She went back to reading, looked back one more time at the strangish girl and looked away.

Nix struggled against the the weed as it dragged her under the water, she kicked her legs apart she pulled at her hands but the weed tugged them together so she couldnt move them as much or get away. She felt the water wash over her fingertips as she was dragged totally below the Waters surface and weeds shifted from harmlessly floating below her and wrapped around all her body. Her arms were pinned against her sides and her legs were tied together ,weeds wrapped around neck and she felt the little oxygen she'd had was being squeezed out of her and she felt her sight begin to blur as she ran out of air

*Sorry I've been gone soo long....I'm going to use what I already have and fix it:D*
She yet again looked back, she felt something was wrong. Extremely wrong. She didn't see the girl, she waited for a few seconds to make sure she just wasn't swimming. Swiftly she ran, throwing down her things as she went. She tripped over her shoe and fell, she bit her lip on the way down and busted it open. She wiped if off jumped up and contiued to run, there she went splashing in the water, weeds grabbing her own feet. She was only a quarter of the way in the way into the water yet again falling, luckily she didn't hurt herself. She continued on splashing through out the green, leafy pond. She thought to herself, "Almost there, I've got to keep on going!". She was almost there, she began tiring slightly. It was quite a large pond, a weed grabbed her leg and pulled her under. She came up coughing up water and gasping for air, down she went again. More weeds began entangling her feet, she began pulling she saw the girl. She was so close, Natalie began kicking the weeds away and swimming forward.

*pond? It's a lake, it's the huge lake where mermaids live in film and book 4*
Nix felt her eyes glowing heavy and she couldn't move so much any more. Her legs felt like they were full of lead and her arms were just as heavy, she wanted to drop her head and give up and sleep and let the weeds the just her to where ever it was that they so clearly needed her to be. She saw movement a little away from her and she blinked ,who or what ever it was wasn't moving gracefully or nicely and was send waves in all directions over the lakes surface and sending bubbles down to where nix was being dragged, she could see the shadow of a robe and the brightness of what she knew to be a school uniform shirt, seeing as pupils couldn't wear anything else on the grounds it had to be another student coming to get her
